Our Participant Education Team objective is to help participants Own Their Tomorrow through engaging, action-focused education experiences that enable participants to build a deeper relationship with Schwab.
This is done by earning participant's trust through consultative interactions, understanding their unique needs and positioning solutions when appropriate.
As a Manager - Participant Education Presenter, you are a retirement plan and benefits industry professional with a demonstrated ability to engage plan participants, whether in-person or virtual, with an emphasis on inspiring participants to take their next best step.
Additionally, you have a growth mindset and strong desire to collaborate with business partners, working together to achieve organizational goals while creating a best-in-class education offer.
What you'll do:
Establish a thorough understanding of the value of our Participant Experience and Communication offering, and foster awareness among clients and business partners.
Know our clients, establish a trusted partnership with plan sponsors and be an active player on collaborative and consultative service teams.
Engage with plans sponsors and participants to deepen their relationships with all that Schwab has to offer.
Maintain effective communication with internal business partners to ensure successful end-to-end execution of the participant engagement strategy.
Identify gaps in our Participant Experience and communication offerings and share information with leadership.
Inspire participant action by engaging in needs-based dialogue and matching with Schwab financial solutions.
Embrace new ideas to support the continuous evolution of the team and the Schwab organization.
Accountable to meet then exceed performance targets independently.
Travel required.
May travel 25% - 50%
of the time (varies based on market/business needs).
What you haveYou must be a professional with a minimum of 5 years in the retirement and benefits or financial services industry, with a strong knowledge of investments, general financial planning principles, and equity compensation.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience demonstrating a basic understanding of ERISA, pension/trust compliance, DC and DB plans, NQDCs, and Equity Compensation.

years of successful experience in Qualified Retirement Plans, Financial Planning, Employee Benefits or equivalent experience in a Financial Services role.
3
years demonstrated public speaking (presenting and facilitating) skills:
facilitating meetings, influencing others, and inspiring action.
Bi-lingual Spanish/English communicator:
proficient in writing and speaking.
Series 7 and 66 licenses highly desired.
CFP or other industry designations preferred.
Articulate communicator with strong listening skills; presents well in person, on the phone, and virtual meetings.
Ability to work cross-functionally in partnership with client service teams to strategize participant engagement with plan sponsors.
Excellent organization, high attention to detail, and time management skills.
High achievement orientation, with demonstrated success working independently and exceeding performance standards.
Demonstrates good business judgment and knows when to use resources to accomplish tasks.
Quickly learns from experience and translates learning into new behaviors.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
